What is considered “driving under the influence” (DUI) in Georgia and the consequences of a conviction. The court will order the offender to complete 12 months of probation, less any time spent in jail. Probation can suspend part of the jail sentence, but the offender must serve at least:
24 hours in jail for a first offense
72 hours in jail for a second offense, and
15 days in jail for a third offense.

With all do repect, These charges were NOT thrown out of court. Check public records. She plead no contest to a lesser charge BECAUSE SHE REFUSED THE WARRANT. Butterfield refused a court ordered blood draw. No blood was ever taken, but they certainly tested the blood of the man she killed. She was already out of school, celebrating. She works for her father, Humm. The vehicle she was driving she was familiar with, it belonged to her father. Car lights had NOTHING to do with this crash. She wiped out an entire construction site, nearly hitting 3 other workers. She was out of control. Beyond that, she showed ZERO remorse, on scene, and in the court room.
